About The Sugar Shack
Our Story
The Sugar Shack is a family-owned ice cream shop located in the heart of Seminole, FL. What began as a running joke slowly turned into a dream. Whenever work got tough, we’d laugh and say, “Why aren’t we selling ice cream? Everyone loves ice cream!” We repeated it so often that during a six-hour road trip with our four children, the question came up again after getting off a work call. This time, we had a different response: “Wait… do you actually want to sell ice cream?” By the end of that drive, we had a business plan. Four months later, we opened our doors. Conveniently, the perfect location was right in front of us—our construction company’s office. Out went the desks and paperwork, and in came the freezers. Now, we get to spark business interests within our children as we provide a space for other families to visit and make memories.
